1.06.25 Legislative Update
Valued WHTC Members,
The 68th Wyoming Legislature will convene next Tuesday, January 14, for the 2025 general session. The general session will last 37 working days until Thursday, March 6 (three extra days are available if needed). A total of 204 bills are listed on the legislature’s website to date. We expect somewhere around 500 bills this session.
Your association supports legislation that provides for a thriving hospitality and tourism industry and opposes any legislation that would diminish it. We will update you every Monday throughout the session on everything related to hospitality and tourism in the Wyoming Legislature.
Please watch closely for any “Call to Action” emails from us. Our greatest strength as an industry is to stand together, engage, and advocate with decision-makers. We only send out a call to action for issues that significantly impact hospitality and tourism in Wyoming. Your voice will be critically important this session.
