1.27.25 Legislative Update

Valued WHTC Members,

The 68th Wyoming Legislature begins its third week today. The general session will last 37 working days until Thursday, March 6 (three extra days are available if needed). To date, 468 bills are listed on the legislature’s website. We expect somewhere around 500 bills this session.

Your association supports legislation that promotes a thriving hospitality andy and opposes any legislation that would diminish it. We will update you every Monday throughout the session on everything related to hospitality and tourism in the Wyoming Legislature.

Please watch closely for any “Call to Action” emails from us. Our greatest strength as an industry is to stand together, engage, and advocate with decision-makers. We only send out a call to action for issues significantly impacting hospitality and tourism in Wyoming. Your voice will be critically important this session.

The supplemental budget will start to be presented on both the House and Senate floors this week.
