Hot Off The Grill- Washington DC
Valued WHTC Members,
Last week, members of the Wyoming Hospitality and Travel Coalition traveled to Washington, D.C., to advocate for policies that support the continued growth of Wyoming’s hospitality and tourism industry.
During the visit, we met with Senators Barrasso and Lummis, as well as Congresswoman Hageman, to discuss key priorities, including:
Addressing the critical need for seasonal workers through improvements to the H-2B visa program.
Reinforcing support for the America the Beautiful Act and continued investment in our national parks, forests and public lands.
Discussing the decline in international visitation to Wyoming and identifying common-sense steps to help reverse that trend, including reinstating funding for Brand USA and reducing excessive fees for inbound travelers visiting the United States.
Advocating for policies that strengthen our state’s second-largest industry and support the more than 34,000 employees across Wyoming remains our top priority. Thank you to everyone who took the time to travel and engage in these important conversations.
Members of the Wyoming Hospitality and Travel Coalition joined hospitality and tourism leaders from across Wyoming last week in our Nation’s Capital.
Thank you for contributing to the future of Wyoming’s hospitality and tourism industry!
Warm regards,
