Year-Round Advocacy

Valued WHTC Members,

I hope this message finds you well. While the recent Wyoming legislative session has come to a close, our work as advocates for the hospitality and tourism industry is far from over. As dedicated members of WHTC, it is crucial that we continue to champion the interests of our industry throughout the year.

Why Ongoing Advocacy Matters

The hospitality and tourism sector is vital to Wyoming's economy, providing countless jobs and contributing significantly to our state's financial health. By actively engaging with local leaders and decision-makers, we can ensure that our industry's needs are recognized and addressed.

How You Can Make a Difference

  • Meet with Local Leaders: Arrange meetings with your local representatives to discuss the importance of Wyoming's hospitality and tourism industry. Share personal stories and data that illustrate the impact on your business and the community. You can find who your Representatives are here and your Senators here.

  • Highlight Economic Contributions: Emphasize how our industry supports jobs, generates revenue, and enhances the quality of life for residents and visitors. The Economic Impact of Travel report compiles estimates of travel spending, employment and earnings, and travel-generated receipts for each county.

  • Promote Industry Success Stories: Use real-life examples of how the hospitality and tourism sectors have led to positive developments in your area. When possible, share personal and/or local experiences.

  • Stay Informed and Involved: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, legislative updates, and community initiatives to remain an informed advocate. WHTC is committed to keeping you informed on the issues that matter most. Keep an eye on your inbox and encourage other industry leaders to join our mailing list.

Maintaining strong relationships with our legislators will help ensure our industry's needs are addressed and supported. Your voice is powerful and can drive positive change for our community and economy.

We appreciate your continued commitment and look forward to seeing the impact of your advocacy efforts. Together, we can elevate Wyoming's hospitality and tourism industry to new heights.

Warm Regards,
